Returns/Exchanges

Final sale on all products, no returns or exchanges.

Wrong Size:

We do not authorize skate refunds if the wrong size is selected, please be sure to choose the correct size. If unsure visit a retailer to have your child try them on. 

Purchases Elsewhere:

We do not distribute to any store that sells Balance Blades as they have their own manufacturer and the product is licensed by Winnwell Hockey, therefore if you purchased elsewhere, you will have to go back to the store or website you purchased from. Customer Service at Balance Blades does not accept skate returns that were purchased from an alternative store. 

Damaged or Defective:

The parts on the skates are not replaceable. We inspect each pair of skates and all products before packaging and shipping to ensure they are not defective from the manufacturer. If damaged during shipping, the skates and, or other products would have to be returned and replaced if new, unused, in original packaging, and qualifies under the warranty/return policy for each individual store. In the case of a damaged product, you have 30 days from original order date for an exchange and you are responsible for all shipping fees. As stated above, we do not distribute to any company that sells Balance Blades as they have their own manufacturer and the product is licensed by Winnwell Hockey, therefore you would have to check with them regarding their return and replacement policy.

Shipping:

These costs are non-refundable as they are charged by the shipping company. 

Approximate costs from USA to Canada: shipping $40 USD, customs import duties $35 USD and re-stocking fee $10 USD.

On-Sale items:

Unfortunately sale items cannot be returned and refunded.

Warranty:

Balance Blades Inc. offers to the original buyer exclusively a limited warranty against shipping defects for 30 days from the original website purchase date.

Products are extensively inspected before packaging and shipping to ensure they are in good working order and free from defects from the manufacturer. Any damage would therefore happen during the shipping process, or thereafter. 

We will NOT provide a warranty replacement for products if:

There is evidence that the product has been abused, altered, defaced, misused or otherwise damaged through an act of neglect of the consumer.

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We require a receipt or proof of purchase. For the quickest and most efficient service, please send an email to customerservice@balanceblades.com in order to claim your warranty. Please send the following information:

  1. Your full name
  2. Home address/City/Country/State or Province/ZIP or Postal Code (No P.O. Box)
  3. Daytime phone
  4. Email address
  5. Date of purchase
  6. Website purchased from
  7. Short description how the damage occurred
  8. The original order receipt sent by email
  9. A picture of the skate in its entirety
  10. A close-up of the damage

Please note that any skates that have been abused, tampered with, altered, defaced, misused, or otherwise damaged through an act of neglect of the consumer will be excluded from this warranty.
