Bought my daughter a pair a few years ago so still wears them, now that my son needed skates I knew just where to get them.

Awesome skates that deliver as promised

Bought the skates for my son. He is 2years and 3month. Once he learned to walk on skate on a rubber surface and felt confident (about 10min) I dropped him on the ice. Guess what .... he did not fall. Just amazing ..... he eventually would drop on his butt but more because of being tired than falling backwards. As of this posting he spent about 4 hours on the skates. Loves them and loves being on the ice. Parants around the ice rink were curious and kinda in disbelief. These skates are the real deal!

    Design could use some work

The skates are nice I like how it is all package but the problem is with the buckle. My son just turned 4 and started his first ice skating class. He is the only one among his entire class that gets taken off the ice multiple times because when he falls he sometimes lands on the buckle which is located on the side. That pushes against the buckle which then makes the strap come undone. His first class he was taken off 5-6 times. He is now on his third class and got taken out twice. No one else in his class gets taken off and I believe it is because they have laced up skates with no side buckle. I love the concept and when he is on his feet he likes them but they could be designed better. Especially since they are geared for beginners. It's very frustrating to see your son get taken off the ice over and over because that strap comes undone. The teachers suggested putting a sock over the buckle to prevent it from popping open but I think it should be designed better.
